What’s Changing for SIL Providers
From 1 July, the requirements for SIL providers are changing. These providers must be registered or apply to register by 1 October 2026. The same requirement applies to NDIS digital platform providers.
What You Need to Do
If you receive SIL supports, you or your authorised representative can ask your provider if they’re registered or plan to register. If they’re registered, you don’t need to do anything.
If Your Provider Decides Not to Register
If your provider decides not to register, support will be available every step of the way. Help is available to look at other options and find a new provider that suits your needs.
Your Supports Stay the Same
Your plan, funding, and supports will stay the same. This won’t change no matter what your provider decides. The new registration requirements don’t affect your existing arrangements.
